PRIVACY POLICY
General information
This privacy policy is intended to inform users of this website about the nature, scope, and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the website operator teadaydreams (karin@teadaydreams.com). We take your privacy very seriously and treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with legal regulations. As new technologies and the constant further development of this website may result in changes to this privacy policy, we recommend that you reread it at regular intervals.
Definitions of the terms used (e.g. "personal data" or "processing") can be found in Art. 4 DSGVO.
Access data
We, the website operator or service provider, collect data about accesses to the website based on our legitimate interest (see Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR) and store this data as “server log files” on the website’s server. The following data is logged this way:
Visited website
Time of access
Amount of data sent in bytes
Source/reference from which you reached the page
Browser used
Operating system used
IP address used
The server log files are stored for a maximum of 14 days and then deleted. The data is stored for security reasons, e.g. to be able to clarify cases of misuse. If data has to be stored for reasons of proof, it is excluded from deletion until the incident has been finally clarified.
Cookies
For information regarding privacy when using cookies, see our Cookie Policy.
Collection and processing of personal data
The website operator only collects, uses and passes on your personal data if this is permitted by law and you consent to the collection of data.
Personal data refers to all information that can be used to identify you as a person and that can be traced back to you — such as your name, email address, and telephone number.
You can also visit this website without providing any personal information. However, to improve our online offering, we store your access data to this website (see above under Access Data) without any personal reference. Due to the anonymization of the data, it is not possible to draw any conclusions about your identity.
We process personal data such as first name, surname, IP address, email address, home address and content details from the contact form. We only do this with the permission of the user concerned and in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations.
Personal data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in fulfilling our contractually agreed services and optimising our online offering.
The data provided by you is required for the fulfilment of the contract and for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. It is not possible to conclude a contract without this data. The data collected will not be transmitted to third parties, with the exception of the transmission of payment data (credit card data) to the payment service provider processing the transaction for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the shipping company (transport company) commissioned by us to deliver the goods and to our tax advisor to fulfil our tax obligations.
If you cancel the purchase process, the data stored by us will be deleted. If a contract is concluded, all data resulting from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiry of the tax retention period (7 years). The transmitted name, address, purchased goods and date of purchase are also stored until the expiry of product liability (10 years). Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 para. 3 TKG and Art. 6 para. 1 lit a (consent) and/or lit b (necessary for contract fulfilment) of the GDPR.
Comments and contributions
If you leave a post or comment on this website (for example in the course of a product review), your IP address will be stored. This is done on the basis of our legitimate interests within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO and serves our security as the website operator: If your comment violates applicable law, we can be prosecuted for it, which is why we have an interest in the identity of the comment or post author.
Google Analytics
This website uses the service “Google Analytics” — offered by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) — on the basis of our legitimate interests in optimizing and analyzing our online offering pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) of the DSGVO. The service (Google Analytics) uses “cookies,” which are text files stored on your device. The information collected by these cookies is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
Google LLC complies with European data protection law and is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement:

This website uses IP anonymization. The IP address of users is shortened within the member states of the EU, the European Economic Area, and other parties to the Agreement before being transmitted. Only in exceptional cases is the IP address first transmitted in full to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Due to this shortening, the personal reference of your IP address is eliminated. The IP address transmitted by your browser will not be merged with other data stored by Google.
As part of the data processing agreement that we, as the website operator, have concluded with Google Inc., Google uses the collected information to evaluate website usage and website activity and to provide services related to internet usage. The data collected by Google on our behalf is used to analyze the use of our online offering by individual users — for example, to generate reports on website activity in order to improve our online presence.
You have the option to prevent cookies from being stored on your device by adjusting the appropriate settings in your browser. However, if your browser does not allow cookies, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to access all functions of this website without limitations.

Google reCAPTCHA
To protect our forms from misuse, we use the Google reCAPTCHA service (operated by Google LLC). This allows us to distinguish whether an entry is made by a human or abusively by automated machines.
In doing so, the IP address and possibly other data required for the service are transmitted to Google. This is based on our legitimate interest in the security of our website pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO. Google reCAPTCHA This allows us to distinguish whether an input is made by a human or is being misused by automated systems. In the process, the IP address and, if necessary, other data required for the service are transmitted to Google.
