Drops of Sunshine

Where the wild tea trees grow in northern Vietnam, another little treasure also thrives: a wild-growing, highly aromatic tangerine.

For Drops of Sunshine these two treasures merge into a small work of art: the earthy wild black tea is carefully nestled into the hollowed-out, dried tangerine peel. The result is a magical, amber-coloured taste experience. The essential oils of the wild tangerine peel combine with the dark, malty notes of black tea, creating a full-bodied, velvety tea that simultaneously warms and refreshes with its fruity citrus notes.

Every tangerine is unique, a small, handmade power pack. When the world outside gets too loud or too grey, this tea brings the warm, golden sunlight right into your favourite cup.

You can infuse the tangerine whole, or break off a piece and only use part of the tea. Like all our teas, this one can be infused multiple times – 10 times or more, depending on steeping time. To allow the tea leaves to unfurl optimally, you can gently open or break apart the tangerine a little on subsequent infusions.
