The tea leaves for this flowery, aromatic, strong oolong are picked in September. Oxidisation of the leaves are precisely controlled by hand. The result is a tea that captures the last flare of summer before the leaves fall in autumn. It has a noticeable astringency combined with a delicate sweetness and floral notes - like the bittersweet feeling when the passion of summer slowly gives way to the cold.
